STRIDE is  a women’s leadership forum purposed to promote, support, connect, transform and be intentional about growing as women leaders in an emotionally safe environment.   

STRIDE Goals

We will accomplish our mission by meeting the following goals:

·       Support – Support other women leaders in their journey

·       Transform – Transform how women prepare themselves for the leadership journey

·       Reach – Reach out to bring other women along with us

·       Incorporate – Incorporate the best attributes from the “Old Boys” network

·       Deliberately – Deliberately advocate and sponsor other women

·       Educate – Educate each other on the rules of the game

STRIDE Values

We agree to uphold the following values in order to continue having a fun and safe environment to grow as women leaders:

1.     Safe Environment: all members can bring forth issues and risks with the understanding that all information will be kept confidential

2.      Inclusion: Forums are open to current and future women leaders by invitation.

3.     Celebrate the successes: Celebrate our successes through our journey, not just at the end

4.     Active Participation: Be an active participator and take accountability for the success of your individual leadership growth

5.     Meeting Attendance & Multi-Tasking: Give priority to the meeting (call if I am absent or late); arrange schedules to attend the full meeting, come prepared and be on time to all meetings; stay engage and do not multi-task.  Be conscious of putting the call on hold and muting to minimize disruption to the call

6.     Meeting Preparation: Plan and prepare for meetings based on the scheduled topic/agenda; this will get you the most out of your leadership journey

7.     Facilitation: Meetings will start and end on time. Facilitator and Chair complete meeting agendas and materials 3 days prior to meeting.
